Compared to the Anchorage average annual rainfall of just over 16 inches, it’s quite an increase. Of course, you can expect warmer overall temperatures in Seattle, with yearly temperatures typically between 37 and 79 degrees and average annual snowfall of just under 7 inches.

Finding jobs in Seattle

The cost of living in Seattle is among the highest in cities across the U.S., but luckily, so is the average salary for residents. The town has plenty of jobs, with the top employers Amazon, Microsoft and Zillow. Careers in biotech, health care, manufacturing and maritime industries are also available in the greater metro area.
