Is it true that Austin’s bigger than Miami?

Technically, yes. Austin’s population within the city limits is almost twice the size of Miami. However, you’ll likely feel less crowded in the larger state of Texas since Austin’s metro has around 2.4 million people, roughly half of Miami’s metropolitan area. Plus, the population density is much less, so not everything is bigger in Texas!
