U-Pack’s pricing is determined by equipment type and availability, the move date and the distance traveled. You can lower your rate by using one or more of the following tips:

Be flexible with your moving date

Rates vary based on availability, and moving during busier times can cost more. If possible, be flexible with your moving date and consider moving midweek rather than on the weekend to save the most. Choose the equipment type based on the lowest rate

U-Pack offers two types of moving equipment for most moves: a 28’ trailer and ReloCube® moving containers. Choosing the cheaper option will save money.

Note: This tip only works if you have adequate parking space for either equipment option.

Reduce shipment size

U-Pack rates are not based on weight, and you save money by paying only for the space you use. You only pay for the number of ReloCubes you use or the space you fill in the moving trailer. 

If you reserve more Cubes than you need, we’ll pick up the empty ones for free. And if you use more or less space in a moving trailer (down to a minimum of 5 linear feet), we’ll adjust your price accordingly. 

That means reducing your shipment size can save you even more. Declutter your belongings before moving to make the most of your U-Pack move.

Consider service center delivery

Add moving labor only if you need it
