What’s the price of a U-Pack moving trailer?
Choosing what equipment to use for an out-of-state move often comes down to two things: price and flexibility. U-Pack® offers both with affordable moving trailers that allow you to adjust how much space you use while you load.
Keep reading to learn more about trailer pricing and how flexible space impacts your costs.
How we determine trailer rates
All U-Pack trailer quotes are customized for each move and are based on factors including the timing, distance and size of the home. Here’s what you should know about U-Pack trailer rates:
Pay only for the space used
U-Pack trailers have 28 linear feet of space for belongings. We’ll provide a quote based on the size of your home, but you aren’t locked into that space. You can use the whole trailer if needed (typically for a 3–4-bedroom home) or as little as the minimum of 5 linear feet (standard for a studio apartment). You’ll only pay for the space you use! And you can keep track of your price based on the per-foot rate on the reservation.
For example, a reservation for 15 linear feet with a $150 per-foot rate means you’ll save $150 if you use only 14 feet and pay $150 more for 16 feet.
There’s no need to weigh things because we only charge for the space used in the trailer, not the weight of the shipment!
Receive all-inclusive pricing with no hidden fees
U-Pack pricing is transparent and includes the equipment, delivery, transportation and standard liability coverage. There are no taxes or surprise fuel surcharges.
